Solher Spotlights: March Madness Weekend One β Columbus, OH
The Weekend Showed Out
The 2026 season kicked off in Columbus, Ohio at One Nation's March Madness Weekend One. One Nation's Bill Walters has been a consistent champion of the women's game, and March Madness Weekend One in Columbus was another example of what that investment looks like on the field.
Because this is what we do. We show up, we cheer each other on, and we make sure the women doing incredible things on the field get the recognition they deserve.
Three women in the Women's B/C Division had days that needed to be celebrated. So here we are, celebrating them.
π Leah Karaba
Leah Karaba came to Columbus and left with a first-place finish, an MVP award, and a stat line her coach had to count twice.
9-10 β’ .900 AVG β’ 6 doubles β’ .909 OBP β’ 1 walk
Six doubles in one tournament. The Angry Beavers went 4-0 and took the Women's B/C Division title. Leah took home MVP. That tracks.
π Olivia Allen
Olivia Allen quietly β okay, not quietly β put together one of the most well-rounded performances of the weekend.
18-20 β’ .900 AVG β’ 4 doubles β’ 2 triples β’ 10 RBI
18 hits. 10 runs driven in. Extra bases all day long. LadyTribe finished 2nd place in the Women's B/C Division and Olivia showed up every single game.
π Sara Sang
And then there's Sara Sang, who hit .947 on the day like it was nothing.
18-19 β’ .947 AVG β’ 3 doubles β’ 1 HR β’ 11 RBI
Almost perfect. 11 RBI. A home run. Sara and Olivia together made LadyTribe one of the most dangerous lineups in the division β and they earned every bit of that 2nd place finish.
Two women from the same team both hitting .900+. That's a Solher weekend.
