Evolving softball one draft at a time

Taylor and I met at River City West playing Sunday coed leagues. We kept showing up together—women's leagues, tournaments, anywhere we could get on the field. We both grew up playing fastpitch. Taylor still coaches at the Reds Youth Academy.

When we met, we both had young boys—I had Nolan (now 6), she had Zion (now 8) and Kairo (now 5). While we played, they formed their own friendships on the sidelines. It gave us a space to do something we loved while giving them a safe place to just be kids.

We knew what it felt like to love a game that didn't always make space for us.

So we built our own.

The name came from one long night while the boys played. They loved space—so we landed on "Solar Superdrafts." We sent it to James of Grizzy Threads to make the logo. He came back with a suggestion: SolHER.

It stuck.

We're more than just a tournament - we're building a universe where every player can shine.
